Spreading the Word of God
BFO - Bibles for Others is a ministry that sends free Bibles to people in over 18 countries around the world. Through their "adopt a Bible" program, you can sponsor a Bible and its shipping for just $15 per month. With over 100 requests for Bibles each month, BFO's heart is to show God's love to everyone by putting a Bible in the hands of those who need or want one.
History
Calvary's Northern Lights Mission was started in 1967. Don and Gen Nelson were called to start radio station King Jesus Noth Pole (KJNP) North Pole, Alaska. As time went on, people called the station asking for Bibles. They decided in 1980 to start Bibles for Others in Cohasset, MN. We are now in Grand Rapid, MN.
Bibles for Others
In 2022 Dale and Linda Tierney moved from Colorado to become the newest missionary caretakers for Bibles for Others. Their hearts are to sow God's love by sending Bibles all over the world to those who can't afford one. We feel blessed to do the work of God. We would like to share with you our story of how we became missionaries - how God uses the ordinary to do the extraordinary!
KJNP
KJNP AM station reaches North Pole, Fairbanks and remote villages in interior Alaska.
KJNP FM station reaches greater Fairbanks and the Tanana Valley.
The station is always hosting people as work crews on the property. This is a wonderful way to do a mission trip with your church or ministry group. This team is also looking for missionaries to stay on the station's grounds and work.
